Sung by Martha Lois O. Vallejo| Accompanied by Paul Jeffrey M. Ballentos
Never the Same
Just a little cruise of oil was all she had to spare
Just a cup or two of flour to make a cake to share
Yet she gave it to the prophet; she gave it in God’s name
And the little that she seemed to have was never quite the same
When you finally learn to give it up; no matter just how small
When you open up your hands to God -- your life; your very all
There’s something that will happen to the world you can’t explain
But the little that you seemed to have will never be the same
Just a lunch of two small fishes and five small loaves of bread
Yet he gave it to the Master; how could the crowd be fed?
Yet in the hands of Jesus, a feast his lunch became
And the little that he seemed to have was never quite the same
