A significant enhancement to SURFCAM 2022.1 is the new Microsoft SQL Tool Database. The Microsoft SQL express is installed by default. The new database structure allows tooling information to be available to SURFCAM 2022.1 and future versions without the need to transfer data from one version to another. The increased functionality of the tool library will allow enhanced usage by toolpath generators, the ability to add new tool types and future tool holder support.
