New Prototype Planter vs Our Current Setup | Sugar Beet Test

We had the chance to test out a prototype sugar beet planter from Spudnik, and I wanted to see how it really compares to what we’re currently running. In this video, I walk through the design of the planter, how it’s set up, and what makes it different. We dig up seeds multiple times throughout the field to check spacing, depth, and consistency—because that’s what really matters when it comes to planting. I also compare everything we’re seeing against our current planter and talk through what’s better, what’s questionable, and what still needs work.
