New Years 2026

Hello our friends! We’re Ethan and Kristen, and welcome to our channel! It’s that time of year already… New Year’s!! 🎉 This year we kept things local, soaking up some beach time and relaxing with close friends. It was a fun little trip and exactly what we needed. However, there’s something important we want to talk about… the state of the rubbish left behind. Honestly, we were left speechless. What we saw was disappointing and completely unacceptable. This beach has always been our go to spot for a beach run, but the amount of rubbish being left behind is not okay. Every time we visit, we end up leaving with more rubbish than we arrived with and it shouldn’t be that way. We’re incredibly lucky to have places like this, and if we don’t start respecting them, we risk losing access altogether… and that’s the last thing any of us want. Because of this, we’re organising a Whitehills Clean Up Day, and we’d absolutely love for you to join us in helping make this place what it should be again. Bring along some rubbish bags and help us collect as much as we can. Most of what we find is glass bottles, cans, camp chairs, broken gazebos… you name it. We’ll be heading down early, cleaning up as much as possible, then parking up, going for a swim, cooking some lunch, and enjoying the beach the right way. Let’s look after what we have. Respect the beach, respect each other, and keep Whitehills open for everyone. As we work towards this, we truly appreciate all the support, feedback, and encouragement along the way.
