Why would a CNC shop need a table saw? For a long time I thought I didn’t need a tablesaw because I had the CNC. But I kept finding myself in certain situations that a tablesaw would be perfect for. I had a tablesaw but it was a small sketchy job site kobalt table saw. I have used this kobalt table saw for over 10 years and never quite understood how much better a professional table saw was. I never realized how slow I was cutting materials until I saw someone else cutting on a real table saw at an event. And because my job site table saw was underpowered, I would find myself pushing really hard to cut thick hardwood. And because I was pushing really hard, the actual tablesaw would slide and move during cuts! I know! Dangerous and scary! Would not recommend it! As great as the CNC is, the tablesaw still has its place and is better suited for certain tasks like compound angles cuts or ripping a quick piece hardwood and etc. The other beautiful thing about having a cabinet saw is that it is stationary and ready for use at all times. Where as my job site saw would always be being moved from the shop to job sites. This new addition to the shop will definitely be beneficial to the shop flow especially for face frame construction style cabinetry. I hope you all enjoy the video!
