Luckily there is an easier, more musical way to make automation edits while using Massive. It's a really simple process to use live automation in Massive. 1.) First create some macros. This will be dependent on what you want to achieve with your live automation in Massive. 2.) Assign the macros you created in step 1 to your controller that you are using. I.E. Maschine, MPK etc. 3.) This step will vary per DAW, but you need to generally activate a mode that will let you record real time knob and slider movements on your controller. 4.) Record you live automation in Massive! It's really that simple and this method of automation is the most musical and fun to do. You can of course go back and make fine edits using the normal automation tool in any DAW.
