The Mooladhara Shloka: An ancient Sanskrit hymn which corresponds to the first energy centre in our body, the base chakra (wheel), the Mooladhara (Mool, meaning root, Dhara, support). This chakra is governed by the elephant headed God Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. The qualities of this chakra to be imbibed within us are that of: Innocence, Purity, Wisdom and Auspiciousness.
