I've been releasing music but I don't think a live show is going to happen with all that is going on - but I wanted to give it a go somehow and get some practice/ideas of how I could achieve it - here I am covering my recent song Decaf using the MPC1000 to trigger MIDI/audio. To bass is coming directly from the Moog Matriarch, though the original version has a load of filter automation which I count not go so it sounds a bit off in some parts - but playing MIDI into a synth is still much more fun than using the bounced Bass track from the original version. The original song used the Prophet 5 V VST by Arturia for the lead sound - here I am playing it live along with the track via the OB-6 (quite a few mistakes in there) no midi notes are recorded but I have MIDI CC values altering the filter and envelopes over time (synced via the MPC1000). It is a pretty fun way to play track semi-live. Enough is available to improvise and make each iteration unique and keep you busy and entertained as you are playing it - more so than just pressing play and sitting back. I hope to do more like this in the future.
