The light will guide you on the right path. And that is true one you start to solve the numerous challenges in this retro style physics and puzzle game called Night Lights! The main objective here is to help your tiny character get inside the exit. And in order to do this task, you will need to turn the lights on and off. The lights can reveal if there's a missing gap on the platforms. It can also help you show deadly traps or spikes. As you progress through the higher levels, you will find lamps that can be picked up and give light to your path. Overview Night Lights is a fun and challenging platform based puzzle game where you will need to control your character and help him move towards the exit, it won't be easy as the environments are quite dark and eerie with the occasional light bulb shining down your path but it sure is going to be fun, the game features some 15 challenging levels for you to traverse, each one of the levels were designed to give you a nice challenge, each one of the levels also features different sets of obstacles and traps you need to overcome, it really won't be easy as there are a lot of hazards that can kill your character, like spikes, gaps and so much more, no worries mate as the game also provides some in game help that you can use, there are blocks that you can move around and help you with the switches, and even lamps that you can pick up and turn on and off to light your path, you can't be too confident though as there are also some obstacles that are constantly moving, like those spikes that shoot out from a wall, if your character gets hit by one of those, it will die for sure, are you afraid of the dark?, play this fun filled puzzle game and try to find out for yourself here in Night Lights. Graphics and Sound Night Lights has some very simple graphics and designs, there's nothing really fabulous or fancy about it, even the character design is very simple...basic even, the character featured is just a block, when it walks and jumps, you can't even see its limbs and the same is true with the environments, all you'll ever going to see are blocks, the game also features very few shapes...all geometric by the way, just squares, triangles and rectangles, the colors in the game are monotone, mostly black and dark blue, the game's animations are simple too, not that the game needs some fancy animations, movements are simple too but somehow smooth, even the other moving parts of the game have such simple movements and animations throughout, the game's music is quite nice, a bit eerie but in a nice way which is great as it compliments the setting of the game, sound effects are basic, very few really and you'll mostly hear this rather eerie music in the background, special effects are also quite basic, nothing flashy, but the game doesn't really need one, overall, the simple graphic designs and presentations seem to be enough to make the game looking nice and pretty. Gameplay Night Lights as mentioned earlier is a puzzle platformer, and as such, you will be solving puzzles with varying designs and difficulty all throughout, the levels are almost pitch black by the way with some occasional light, you'll need to move blocks and turn on switches to light the lamps and open up hidden passage ways, the controls in the game are quite simple and really easy to use, you can control the character with the WASD or arrow keys, pick up and drop objects with the X and turn on lights with the C, very simple indeed. Features Night Lights has very simple graphics and visual designs, there are 15 challenging and fun filled levels for you to solve, cool music in the background, and it has very simple controls to make the game more fun to play.
