While this isn't a radically new design it does add a lot of new features to the already excellent D800D/800e. The D810 is priced at $3299.99 USD. The key differences are: New 36.3MP full-frame sensor which does not have an OLPF (optical low-pass filter) Expeed 4 processor ISO 64-12800 (expandable from 32-51,200 ISO) Electronic first-curtain shutter and redesigned mirror/shutter mechanism 9MP 12-bit S-Raw mode 5fps at full resolution FX mode, 7 fps in DX (15MP) when using battery grip and EN-EL18 or AA batteries 6fps in DX mode without grip 3.2 inch 1,229k dot RGBW LCD display with customizable color OLED viewfinder information display Split screen zoom display in live view allows horizons/lines to be leveled precisely 51-point AF system with new Group Area AF mode (same as D4s) Flat Picture Control mode (for video color grading) Auto ISO available when shooting on manual mode during video recording Zebra stripes in video mode The ability to record to an external HDMI recorder and memory card simultaneously Built-in stereo microphone Highlight weighted metering option Power aperture (progressive aperture change) available when recording to internal memory
