The earth was full of voices but hollow in its core, with violence in the breathing of every open door, and truth became a stranger that no one held inside, while wrong stood tall and fearless and right was pushed aside. And one man walked in silence with something in his chest, not louder than the others, but set apart from rest, his hands began a labor no reason could defend, building from a warning no one could comprehend. The years went on unbroken beneath a sealed-up sky, no thunder ever answered, no sign came from on high, their laughter filled the distance, their certainty was strong, but every strike of wood kept saying they were wrong. Then something moved creation beyond its natural will, the wild came without struggle, the fierce and wandering still, as if a deeper order was calling them by name, and nothing in their nature remained the same. The door stayed open longer than logic would allow, as mercy stretched its moment into the present now, but when the silence shifted, it closed without a hand, and something sealed the boundary no one could command. The first drop did not whisper, it fell with final weight, not warning of a danger, but marking settled fate, the sky released its burden, the deep began to rise, and everything once certain dissolved before their eyes. The water did not reason, it lifted and erased, it carried what was chosen and took away the rest, inside there was no control, just waiting in the dark, outside there was no refuge, no shelter, no remark. The days became a measure of breath and quiet strain, with nothing left to anchor the passing time again, until the weight grew lighter in slow and faithful ways, and hope returned in fragments across the silent days. A wing was sent to search for a world that might remain, it circled through the absence and found no end to pain, but later came a signal, so small yet deeply known, a trace of living green that had quietly grown. And when they stepped on ground again it felt both new and scarred, no crowd to celebrate it, no witness left to guard, just sky above in stillness with colors stretched afar, a promise never bargained, but given as they are. 2026 Sergio Eduardo Maurer - Direitos Reservados
