GATED is a sample pack inspired by the well known gated reverb sound of the 80’s, with a modern low end. GATED was created to give you that instant over the top 80’s sound, whether you use them to program loops/tracks, or as a sample replacing/doubling solution for real drum recordings. GATED is a collection of 77 one shots including kicks, snares, regular toms, and roto toms. Each source has a variety of uses as many of them include dry only, room only, or gate only files. Using room or gate only samples to blend with your recorded drums is a great way to add ambience and energy without having to use reverb, compression, etc. If you are happy with your sounds but just need some vibe with them, the room/gate only versions are great to use for doubling your existing sounds, or use the regular versions to really take over your existing sounds. There are also several samples included in the ‘alt’ folder that act predominantly as impact samples. These are samples that are great to add on the down beat of a section of something that you want to have more of an impact!
