Norwood sawmill back stop trouble
For those who’ve never run a sawmill the back stops do not stay in sync so after you take off the first slab and you lower them down a little bit so the blade does not run into them you can only see the front one so let’s say The front one is at 6 inches and the back ones at 9 inches when you think they’re both at the same height and you run into the back one after destroying a couple blades it’s upsetting because you never use them all the way up or all the way down you’re always adjusting them for different size logs The size of the log as you saw it down smaller.
