The Eidolon is a 3d exploration game you collect power balls to charge your ship up to defeat smaller bosses which allows you to collect crystals. Once you collect the three crystals needed you then have to battle with the dragon boss of the level, defeating the dragon sends you to the next level, fail and you restart the level from the beginning.
This game is an amazing feat of coding, not only is it entirely 3d it does give you a level of immersion that a lot of games didn't back then, couple this that it runs on a 48Kb spectrum then this is really an amazing feat 😀
Give this game a go its a game that doesn't have anything that recreates the experience on the humble Spectrum or any of the 8bit machines of the time 😀
