Not the Only Feeling
I didn’t say it. But maybe you could tell The way I hesitate. Says more than I meant to show Ordinary moments. Start to breathe a little slow Nothing changes on the outside. But I feel it, I know I don’t call it anything. I just let it stay A small, open question. At the end of the day It’s not something I can name. Not something I’m sure of yet But when I’m near you. There’s a quiet ease I get If you’re feeling something too. Even just a trace Then this feeling’s not mine only. It has its own space I catch your rhythm. In the pauses when we talk Nothing promised. Still, I slow my steps when we walk I don’t need a reason. I don’t need a sign Just the way the air feels softer. When your pace meets mine Maybe it’s nothing. Maybe that’s fine Some things don’t disappear. Just because they’re undefined It’s not something I can name. It’s not asking to stay But it finds its way back. In the quietest way If we’re standing in the same light. Even for a while Then this feeling’s not mine only. And that makes me smile No need to hurry. No need to decide Some moments are real. Just passing us by I won’t hold it too tight. I won’t push it away It’s enough that it’s here. In this moment we share Just knowing you feel it too. However it goes Means this feeling’s not alone. And I’m okay with that
