Note mode: 1:57
This mode can detect if you are on a drum rack or melodic instrument and will adjust the layout accordingly.
Session mode: 7:38
This mode controls Ableton's session view and is very useful for triggering scenes and clips. It also doubles as a mixer mode and can control panning, volume, sends, and mute/solo/arm buttons.
Custom mode: 11:20
You can create custom layouts using Novation's Components software. This unlocks the Launchpad to any workflow and also makes it a great controller for any DAW.
