Now is Now

Now is Now The lyrics are from back last summer. Started with the line “now is now”, as it’s one that seems to come up fairly often these days. Had the chorus pretty much together and wrote out a bunch of thoughts for verses, but I never had any music for them. Then I borrowed my friend’s SG a little while back (thanks Clanders!), and as I started playing around with it, I found some cool sounding parts…then dug out these lyrics and they seemed ready-made to fit. I’ll take it… I didn’t really get those humbuckers to growl on this take, as I needed to record the vocals at the same time, but I’ve started working on getting some recordings up where people can stream/download them. This one will be up soon at my site on Bandcamp…(see link in bio). Anything I’ve finished will go there for your listening pleasure. And if there’s one of my songs you’ve heard over the last few years that jumps out for you, let me know…I’m just kinda picking them out at random right now…
