This is a tutorial about how to replace the screen in a cell-phone using Nuke. It deals with the challenges of tracking a glossy screen, and getting a good key from a light-emitting screen covered in smudges. I tried to speed through as many of the slow parts as possible, but it is still a bit lengthy. The tutorial is split into two 45 minute parts. Part 1 covers the tracking challenges. Part 2 covers keying and compositing the screen into the phone. There is a key overlay which shows what keys are pressed so that you can reverse-engineer keyboard shortcuts if you do not know them. The Android application I used to make the screen blue and prevent reaction to screen presses is called "Color Flashlight" by the developer "SIM". https://play.google.com/store/apps/de.....
