In this video I will show you how to make Cold-Processed Soap using oatmilk, honey and kaolin clay as natural colourant.
Safety precautions:
Don't forget to use all safety equipment as the lye/sodium hydroxide can burn your skin.
Safety equipment needed:
Eye google, hand gloves, face mask, and long sleeve cloth when handling lye/sodium hydroxide to avoid skin burn and fumes.
Early preparation:
1) Froze distilled oatmilk a day earlier
Ingredients:
175g Olive oil
150g Coconut oil
140g Oatmilk
100g Palm Oil
91g Lye/sodium hydroxide
50g Cocoa butter
40g Rice barn oil
40g Shea butter
40g Castor oil
7g Sweet orange oil
2 tsp Kaolin clay
1 tsp Sodium lactate
Cure for 4 weeks and the soap are ready to use
