Her primary qualifications are in oceanography and in developing and applying numerical models of marine systems. She has been working with the development of the hydrodynamic and biological modules of SINMOD since 2000. The main focus of her research has been on how physical forcing impact chemical and biological processes that are important for ecosystem function.
