Continuous noise pollution from man-made devices,
such as commercial shipping or recreational boats, can
interfere with marine life behaviors by inhibiting the sounds
marine animals make to communicate or find a mate. These
oceanic disruptive continuous sounds are known as “Ocean
Noise.”
