In this video we tie another rope mat, the widely used Ocean plait mat.
The mat is a flat, eight bight turk's head.
Although it has quite an interesting, intricate look to it, it is tied in only a few steps.
It looks especially attractive when the knot is doubled or trippled.
If you are tying this mat with parcord you will need about 7 feet for the trippled version.
