Ocean Waves, our block for today's video is one of those old traditional quilt blocks that I love. Ocean Waves is typically a two-color quilt, although it can be made scrappy. I have always been intimidated by this block owing to the number of pieces required to assemble it, but the method I'm showing you today will greatly simplify that process.
I'm also including a link to a picture of an old ocean waves quilt from 1858. The link will take you to the National Museum of History website where you will also find some more information about the block itself.
