Off Camera Flash Techniques - ND Filters vs High Speed Sync

Using off-camera flash for the first time can be quite daunting, but it doesn't have to be. If, like me, you're a fan of the creamy backgrounds to your imagery due to shooting with wide apertures, there is one main obstacle to overcome. When employing the use of a strobe we need to address the issue of maximum flash synchronization. This video looks at the two techniques we can employ to either combat or embrace any issues we have when using a portable strobe if shooting wide-open apertures in daylight hours.
