Off Camera Flash Techniques Using Cheap Optical Slave Trigger Units

In this video we show how simple it is to use your flashgun off camera with the help of a cheap optical slave trigger unit. These slaves can connect directly to the hot shoe of your flash or can be connected using a standard flash sync cable. When the "eye" of the slave detects a flash it triggers the flash it is connected to instantaneously. They do not require batteries and have no moving parts which makes them very robust and reliable. Each unit has a standard 1/4" tripod mounting thread on the base.
