Oh Lonely Night
Liminality is the space between, a transition, something before it's complete, or something that's lost something it used to have. Something just a bit too empty. Oh lonesome night, Your stars shine so bright, But now they blink out of sight. If I should leave you, Only when the stars should align, Then I would take them away, Above abyss lay. Oh lonesome night, Where do your stars shine bright? Not here, so clear, They have disappeared. Constellations cry out, As one by one without doubt, They die and fade away, Nothing left for a new day. Oh lonesome night, The stars succumbed to blight, I fear I no longer know wrong from right If you should leave me, When a blood moon rises full, I would use my own blood, To strand you in the flood. Eclipsed the sun echoes its death, And I stare at you and take one last breath, I should have known this darkness would be my lone... Rest.
