COMMENT:
The moon is a symbol of the human ego. As the moon only reflects the sun's light, so the ego has no light but that which it reflects from the soul. The human ego can be a powerful reflector, full of light, or can reflect no light, remaining dark, just like the moon.
The medulla oblongata is the moon's physical seat in the body. The sun is located at the point between the eyebrows. By concentrating there regularly every human ego turns into a "full moon", reflecting Spirit's light to all.
