oil diffusion vacuum pump
The diffuser pump is sometimes confusing because it has no moving parts. It operates in a completely different way from gas displacement pumps (such as mechanical pumps). Mechanical pumps lift air and push it out of the chamber through mechanical devices such as pistons, fins or blades. Diffusion pumps are called fluid entrainment pumps in completely different ways. Diffusion pumps use vapor from a boiling fluid to trap air molecules. The fluid is then moved to another location and cooled. The cooling forces air molecules to be released. The downward combination of gravity and steam moves air molecules to the bottom of the pump. Diffusion Pump Skills Generally, the operation of the diffusion pump requires little attention. There are some things to consider: Use high quality oil The use of high quality oil can maximize system performance and minimize maintenance requirements. We offer a variety of excellent product choices. Match the oil to the vacuum level you will reach There is no benefit in rating the oil below the pressure you need, and the cost will increase significantly. - For most decorative metallizers, 702 oil is enough. - Model 704 oil is a good choice for optical coating machine. - Extremely high quality, low vacuum applications, such as semiconductor or laboratory work, may require 705 oil. Flow Track the flow of water through the cooling line. Check the inlet and outlet water temperature and flow rate. Lines can become blocked or corroded over time. Finally, check regularly to ensure that all electric heaters at the bottom of the pump reach the appropriate temperature.
