Rice pudding
1 and 1/2 cup long grain rice
4 cups water
1 stick or 8 tablespoons salted butter
1 teaspoon salt
Cook for about 15 to 20 minutes
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 12oz can evaporated milk
1 cup regular milk
2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
In a 9 x 13“ casserole dish, pour custard over cooled rice. bake on 350° for approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Pudding should be very creamy when removed from oven.
Add raisins(optional)
