This is a song I wrote about working during the summer of 1980 for John Matus. Matus Service Station has been open for over 75 years and is still in the same location at 2754 Old Route 18, Wampum, PA 16157. It is still operated by John’s grandson, Brent Matus, and great-grandson, Brandon Matus.
