Old queen splits check

First check on OG queens at John's. I tried not using the mic since the camera was closer on the top of the adjacent hive. That didn't work great so we'll go back to the mic next time. I also added anchor and ratchet straps to the hives since the wind is likely more here than in my back yard. Old 8 frame...now 10 This one had a queen for sure last time...I put her in the hive. They've done a decent job of drawing out frames on the top box already...good sign. Saw small new larvae in the bottom box, so good sign. Unfortunately, I did find several emergency cells, mostly higher up. Unlike the new queen hives back home, I added a queen excluder and a new super with a couple of drawn frames/honey frames. Old 10 frame split This was the shook to shit queen. Not as many frames drawn in the top box as the other hive. More ermergency cups in the bottom boxes.
