CECC 2 - 2013 A regular ON-OFF temperature controller based on Op-Amps is implemented in order to observe how sensitive it is, when the setpoint voltage suffers small changes. Next, we add hysteresis to the circuit so that the relay doesn't switch that fast. The objective of this project is not to provide insight on relays or using the pinguino board, but to present a project that makes use of analog electronics, digital electronics and software tools. Every equation has been derived step-by-step, so that anyone can modify the design and -most important- see an application example of the "workhorse" of the analog electronics industry.
