the joy I have discovered in this part of my life is something I should never second guess, but rather wonder at. through these four boys I have written one of my many chapters. I have found belonging and while it may only be a step along my way, I will carry with me what I have found here long after it has all ended, because to me they are not just musicians. they are teachers, they are lovers, they are saviours and they are guidance. they are help in defining what I will look for in other people for the rest of my life. I have learned how to give away the entirety of myself without the promise of a single thing in return. I know the beauty of openness, how rewarding it truly is to lay down everything I am at the feet of the people I love and say "even if I am just a face in the crowd, this is my place, this is my home, this is my happiness. I have found my purpose and I have already won."
