One More Door

The Davis Education Foundation has been building doors of hope for students in need by constructing teen centers in schools. These centers provide academic support, mentoring, counseling, and other services to help students overcome challenges and achieve their goals. But there is still a homelessness problem in our community that affects many of our students. That’s why we are introducing an overnight facility with 16 beds for students that need a temporary place to live. This facility will offer a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for students who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability. It will also connect them with resources and opportunities to help them transition to stable housing and independent living.
