Sharing something I've been collecting in my stash & what I use it for! Talking about... *About #Stashcast (#Stashcast is one of my podcast segments where I share what's in my art/intuitive stash. I'll tell you what it is, what it's used for & how, why I bought it, & what I've done with it so far (in the case that I've worked with it)! This is partially for your education, but also to share ideas & inspiration. It also lets you see "inside of the mind of the artist", which is one of my main goals & intentions here!) *What I've Stashed (So this has been a LONG time coming - but its the yarn that I got for Bobbin Lace - I went to share it when I started this series - January 2025, although to be perfectly honest with you it feels like I meant to start it sooner and got caught up etc. I actually misplaced this because it didn't get put away with my bobbin lace tools/supplies and therefore was MIA pretty much all last year.) *Where I got it (As near as I can recall, I got this from The Knitting B, a local yarn store (LYS). I saw the novelty of it and was like - yea, that could make for interesting lace because the yarn is interesting.) *What it's used for in general (Novelty yarns are often used for decorative or fanciful things, not necessarily things that are functional.) *What I'm using it for (This will be used for a bobbin lace design, although I'm not sure what yet. I do have a book that I got on the subject and I'm likely to do something larger and maybe wearable from that because it'll be a fun piece.) ***Today's Questions: Do you have any Berroco Mixer in your stash?
