Op Amp Single DC Supply Biasing
Welcome to the video series The Operational Amplifier - From Abstraction to Reality. This video describes how to bias an op amp to operate on a single power supply. For symmetric dynamic range of an AC amplifier without dual supplies, an artificial ground or middle bias source must be developed. The concept of bias injection is explored along with the effect of the cutoff frequency of multiple capacitively coupled networks on the overall frequency response.
