Open Mine Ears

David said in Psalms 40:6, "Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened..." Moreover, Isaiah 42:9 says, "Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: Before they spring forth I tell you of them..." Lastly, we read in Isaiah 50:5, "The Lord God hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious." Seasons come and seasons go and the transition into a new and glorious season in the Lord will bring a fresh move of joy, purpose, and passion. Brother Sam talks about the principle of hearing the voice of the Lord in this new season. Many times it is not about sacrifice and offering, but simply God opening our ears to hear what's next so we can purposely move into a fresh new season in God. Our struggle many times is because we are stuck in the former. May we hear and respond, not remaining in the former things, but allowing the guiding voice of the Lord to spring us forth today into a glorious new season and ministry for which He has been preparing us individually and corporately.
