I picked up a couple of pieces of Mahogany and decided to try to make something somewhat different and with a very different approach to the segments. This vessel evolved while I was turning it. Well I was looking and thinking it looked bottom heavy so I put it back on the lathe and turned a new base for it as you see on the thumbnail LOL
