This is a brief walk through of my openplotter software and web interface. With marine electronics being so expensive and the speed at which they become obsolete I decided to pursue building my own marine chartplotter. For the most part I'm installing software developed at http://www.sailoog.com/openplotter DIY chartplotters aren't new but with the advent of the raspberry pi the speed, price, and electrical power barriers are quickly being overcome.
