OpenSee 2012 - Using Performance-Based Earthquake Evaluation Methods

Dr. Vesna Terzic (UC Berkeley) discusses the use of performance-based earthquake evaluation methods to assess the relative benefits of different structural systems. The Open System for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (OpenSees) is a software framework for simulating the seismic response of structural and geotechnical systems. A two day workshop on OpenSees was held at the Richmond Field Station, University of California-Berkeley on Aug15-16, 2012. It was sponsored by nees@berkeley and PEER.
