It takes Courage to speak about the unspeakable things we have seen, silence is the greatest of solidifiers attesting to the level of intensity and trauma that we experienced and faced in the valley of death. This is by far the greatest initiative I have ever been apart of, and though these awards are represented by pieces of Medal and ribbon, those medals and ribbon recognize a higher caliber and level of Character that transcends anything else in the world. You do not win these medals, these awards, you are honored with them, and you wear the honor for those that cannot. For these men, for my brothers, for my family, and their families I will tell this story to whoever will listen, for it is for my today that they gave their yesterday's.
