Here is a checklist to run the most efficient Solidworks Simulation:
1) Simulation tab - Options
2) set preferred units
3) Loads fixtures: adjust symbol size as needed
4) Mesh settings: Draft setting for most cases, curvature-based
5) Solver: Automatic, customize sub-folder name to save results
6) Plot options: show max value, floating number format
7) Hit enter or apply to save settings
8) exit and restart solidworks
