You might be aware of the third party load balancers like F5, HA Proxy, Fortinet etc. They are versatile along with their load balancing and failover capabilities that can give us a lot of features as per our requirements. But if you are an Oracle DBA or oracle database professional, did you know that our very familiar the Oracle TNS also has some very basic but useful load balancing and failover capabilities that comes for free with the Oracle database. With this video you will get to know about that.
