The birth and evolution of punk is an iconic era in British and Global music. The legacy of infamous acts and their groundbreaking approach to social issues is something still talked about today in pop culture. Punk is more than these success stories though, it’s roots lie in local communities. Bands of friends grouping together in their parents garage, anxious teenagers forming D.I.Y collectives and a sense of identity often founded in the unique areas they lived in. Organised Chaos is a documentary aiming to shed light on some on some of these stories and venues in the North East like never before… An independently crowdfunded documentary, looking at punk in the North East of England.
