WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS HINTED SLASH, or in other words, BOY/BOY relationship! Do not watch if this offends you. No need to really explain this one, but follow the lyrics. I felt this song really fit these two in End Of Time. Of course, this vid is more from the Doctor's perspective than the Master's, though at the end I allowed him a little point of view as well. Basically, the Doctor's regretting his mistakes in "The Waters Of Mars" from going all "Timelord!Victorious!"and is also trying to fight his impending death; yet, he's concerned for the Master, wants to help him, from the torturing drums in his head and from dying himself. He tries to stop himself from caring too much, because more and more, he falls for the Master, and the Master continues to fall for him, even when both know they shouldn't. I think, while I absolutely LOVE the friendship between them (which I'm positive is most of what their relationship IS), I also love that there's a definite (or at least HUGELY hinted) romance there as well. RTD even said this is canon. But what is so heart-breakingly beautiful about them is they can never, truly, be together. Something, whether it be the Master's insanity, or the Doctor's righteousness and commitment to follow the good path, will always get between them. Yet, they can't exist without the other. Their lives are wrapped around each other, they're the last two survivors of their race ("The last two children of Gallifrey") and they have this continuous love/hate bond("The enmity of ages") that never seems to go away. It's why I, and I'm sure a lot of you shippers out there, love them together so much. Wanted to show that in this vid (and many more to come) :) Hope you enjoy! XD
