This week I hit on what it's like to feel a little too overexposed to technology. We were made aware of so many different technologies, processes and frameworks it got a little bit overwhelming. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and that will come from exposure, also working on personal projects. This was my second week as a software development intern. I thinking being transparent around the difficulty of being in software is an incredibly important step to reduce the anxiety and bad juju that can arise when you start your first development job. It's not easy, it takes a while to start feeling productive, and this video is all about that. Update from three years later working as a web developer - wow. Didn't realise I'd forgotten how much I knew about Docker! Social media: https://twitter.com/nandapandatech https://www.facebook.com/nandapandatech It's important to talk about these things, imposter syndrome is quite real, and I feel especially more so for interns who are, or may be insecure already. After talking to a number of other interns, even graduates who've gone straight into a software dev role. It seems to be a common feeling.
