overwhelming expectations | string quartet

A posh (?) little string quartet I made using Cinematic Studio Solo Strings and Cubase 12 Pro! COOL PEOPLE (big good music) @AZALI00013, @Tides16001, @grav696, @SpiralFlip, @starkeeper, @biinoo, @ikwenmusic, @muteknob, @saltysaltshakr, @ninevolt, @ClicStudio LORE I didn't come up with the name of this piece until I was almost done with it, and the name gave me an idea for a potential story! In my mind's eye, this piece describes the child of a noble family with high expectations. The more rhythmic staccato bits of the piece represent this high-pressure, perfectionist environment. The more legato/major key stuff represents the child finding solace in their friends or something. (I don't really have an idea of what specifically the legato represents other than the antithesis of overwhelming expectation.) This piece was kind of annoying to make since my Kontakt scripts for managing legato delay on CSSS was being goofy. It felt like I was fighting with the software to work how I wanted it to, which is never fun.
