Ozoklenz Case Study: Mitie & Network Rail

6,594 litres of chemicals no longer required. 1,400+ plastic bottles saved. 💚 Mitie was shortlisted for Product of the Year at the SPOTLIGHT Rail Awards for their Chemical-Free Cleaning entry using ozoklenz across Eastern Region Network Rail sites. While it wasn’t a win on the night, the impact of this project speaks for itself: ✅ 6594 litres of cleaning chemicals are no longer used each year, resulting in a substantial reduction in plastic waste. ✅ 1,069 × 5L plastic chemical containers no longer required ✅ 1,437 plastic spray bottles no longer required (683 × 1L, 754 × 750ml) ✅ Over 90% reduction in chemical-related delivery emissions ✅ No need to book, manage or store chemical deliveries on site ✅ Safer, simpler cleaning for teams on the ground A big thank you to Rachael Kearns, Christopher Menzies, Zach Stedman, Harvey Stedman and Louisa Harvey for their work on this project and contribution to the video.
