A Proportional (P) Controller is a type of feedback controller in which the control signal is directly proportional to the error signal between the desired output and actual output.
It reduces the rise time and improves system response speed, but cannot eliminate steady-state error completely.
The controller output is given by

where πΎπ is the proportional gain.
