The Hanayama Padlock puzzle is a level 5 out of a possible 6 on the Hanayama difficulty scale. The padlock is incredibly difficult to solve given it's very slight changes throughout the solution.
The padlock puzzle solution is all about where you have the gaps on the silver pieces. There are four steps to getting the padlock open which I'll walk you through.
The key is to use the two moves in the video in various different positions to change the orientation of the Padlock puzzle pieces.
